When will receive my federal tax refund? How to contact the IRS about a refund? When do they start issuing tax refunds? Generally, the IRS issues most refunds in less than days , but some may take longer.


Refunds are generally issued within days of when you electronically filed your tax return or days of when you filed paper returns.
